In order to be prepared for further growth, we are looking for the following person for the South-Eastern European Headquarters in Vienna:

Head of Strategic Finance - Fashion Retail - South-Eastern Region

Your responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with the regional CEO on the strategic development of the business for all strategic finance issues.
  • You understand the different channels in retail and act as a sparring partner for the country leads and local finance experts.
  • With your analytical and comprehensive strategic finance know-how, you create budgets and targets, monitor them and make appropriate recommendations for action.
  • You implement strategic finance projects in the countries that are developed with the international headquarters.
  • Your interest in business development and development of new tools and KPI's to ensure the success of the business makes this newly created position an essential key function.
  • As a people manager, you will lead and motivate a 5-person finance team that oversees operational finance issues.
  • It will also be essential to set up new processes and structures, adapt them to the current challenges and roll them out internationally.
Our requirements:
  • This key position requires financial experts with a high level of personal responsibility and a focus on results, who have experience in the Cooperate Finance area.
  • You should know the specifics of retail sector and understand where the triggers are.
  • Proven successful experience in a strategic finance position in an international environment as well as in setting up and establishing processes and structures is desirable.
  • You see yourself as an empathetic leader which can also lead and motivate international teams and can combine different cultures and circumstances.
  • You feel comfortable in a demanding, dynamic culture. You can also challenge the CEO in a charming way and be a good sparring partner.
  • A high level of commitment, willingness to travel and enthusiasm for fashion and retail distinguish you as well as entrepreneurial and strong implementation skills.
